DWP payments to arrive early before August bank holiday: who gets paid on Friday 22 August

Reggie Carroll, Baltimore comedian, dead at 52 after Mississippi shooting; suspect charged
Baltimore comedian Reggie Carroll, 52, was fatally shot in South Haven, Mississippi, and died at a Memphis hospital. Police say 38-year-old Tranell Marquise Williams has been charged with his murder. Carroll was reportedly touring with Katt Williams and was known for Knockout Kings of Comedy and TV spots on Showtime at the Apollo and The Parkers. Comics across the country are mourning his loss.

Plane crash at Isle of Wight holiday park: tourists watch as bystanders pull two from burning wreck
Families watched in shock as a light aircraft crashed and burst into flames at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight. The pilot and a passenger escaped with minor injuries after bystanders dragged them from the wreck. Fire crews from Newport and Ryde put out the blaze, and the park stayed open. Rampage Jackson apologizes after son’s ring attack on pro wrestler: 'bad judgment, a work gone wrong'

AUS vs SA: Three tons and a five-for as Australia crush South Africa in Mackay
